BLAME THE NEW GOVERNMENT
Many people are quick to blame and quick to accuse. Its human nature i guess. But not many people can truly have a neutral stand or have the ability of "quick to think and reason". Like the old saying goes, "its easier to spot one’s bad habits or mistakes than to actually see the good.
Some people are quick to hop on the conclusion that the new government is bad. With close inspection, these people have either preconceived ideas about governance and are being stubborn, not very well informed or only choose to read from the media of their choice or even have absolutely no idea about how government works but relies on what people tell them. Well my dear kampung folks, its trully time to get out there and immerse yourself in the truth. The truth that the Ruling government has been trying to keep from us all this time.
But before we move into the gist of this blog, lets turn back time and look at what our forefathers fought for. 10 TAHUN SEBELUM MERDEKA. If you haven’t already watched that, please go to you tube and screen it. Its a brilliant documentary about how our forefathers felt and what they were fighting for. In this short film, many issues were discussed about how the "independence" spirit came about and what originally was intended by the main political figures back in the day. In comparison to today, all i can say is that the "Malaysian Dream" now is nothing but a perversion of what was originally intended by the people. Of course over the ages, time will play itself out and some of the values that was impregnated is all but lost and forgotten. Please i urge you people, GO WATCH IT. Its not a left wing film for your information ( especially to those who are pro-ruling party ), but rather a statement of truth.
BACK TO TODAY!,
Things have changed. Racial cards are played ever so so so so often that you eventually get so tired of praying for them that you begin cursing them ( the culprits that is ). The whole problem now is that everyone is tired and frustrated about the same few issues that seem to re-emerge from time to time. Racial issues and issues about rights that is. Issues pertaining to Religion and also issues pertaining to Racial superiority and transparency. If only the proposals of the AMCJA was taken into consideration much of what we call "fuss" today would have been taken cared of.
But as of late , a slight shimmer of light shines on Malaysia in the form of the Pakatan Rakyat. The pakatan, i believe will herald in a new age in our country and will be one of great importance as it once again signifies that the people’s rights actually have a voice and that people are beginning to stand up against a bad governance once again.
I can’t help but be bombarded by questions from time to time. Some of these, not very well tought over. Here are some issues, that surface form time to time ( courtesy of media-controlled newspapers which have no transparency. )
1) rights of Malays will be eroded with the new government.
If you believe this, then you are decieved. why?, Because to erode rights you need a 2/3rd majority in parliament. If you examine closely, NO ONE PARTY HAS THAT AT THE MOMENT… PERIOD!. To the concerned chinese, even if PAS gets a full 100% victory in the elections, they don’t even have enough seats to form a government by themselves and also no 2/3rd to take away any rights. Besides, Pas has proven from time and again to be doing a good job in their resident state in kelantan and people are happy ( ask any 10 kelantanese and you’ll know why, chinese included ). ISN’T IT BETTER NOW THAT NO ONES HAS A 2/3rd?, no rights can be taken away, as opposed to earlier when everyone was at the mercy of the bn. AND YES THE PAKATAN HAS A MAJORITY OF MALAYS IN THEM, would they take away their own rights?.
2) New government is bad because they ….. ( fill in in accordance to what you read in the newspapers )……
HELLOOOOOOOO…. of course there will be things that are negative happening regardless of who is in power. The issue here however is rather the MAGNITUDE of wrongs committed by a government. In comparison…. 50 years of cow dung management in our country simply cannot be compared to the few months of office of the new government ( speaking of current issues. ). Its simply unfair to judge the new government so fast. Besides, if they are unaccountable to the people you can vote them out next election. Come on , lets all be rational, give them a 5 years trial period…or would you have another 50 years of cow dung?,. For anyone hwo knows how to count, the math itself is enough to draw a decision i believe.
3) NEP NEP NEP NEP, MELAYU MATI TANPA NEP.
PLEASEEEEEEE LAAAAAAA… YOU THINK MALAYS HAVE NO BACK BONES?, IF YOU DO, YOU GO TO HELL. It is umno who wants people to think that they have no backbones. No one is going to die without the nep and the more important part is that THE NEW GOEVERNMENT IS NOT TAKING THE NEP AWAY. Rather the new government will implement the NEP in the correct way, they way it ought to be excercised so that relevant parties ( which are the needy malays ) will FULLY benefit from the NEP. If you think the NEP was properly excercised in the past, you are wrong. If it was… many malays would have been better off today. Like i’ve said before, look into the heartland, look into rural Malaysia, the condition is nothing short of shocking. But if there’s any party that should be complaining i believe it has to be the indians. They have the worst cases of poverty in our country and they have been given the least oportunities. In any case, we should help these brothers of ours even more.
More proof of Malays doing well without an NEP will be just to look at the malays in Singapore and the overseas. The competitiveness just brings out the best in them which brings me to another point…
4) CHANGE… people are scared of change...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i laugh at the face of all IDIOTS WHO THINK MAY 13 WILL HAPPEN OF WE DONT VOTE BN.. YOU GUYS ARE PLAIN IGNORANT. So did may 13 happen…i wanna ask?. The political climate then and now is different. We have to embrace change. Change is inevitable and its not necesarrily a bad thing. Some people are sceptical that change in our country will be of any good or in any case cause things to be worst. Well, lets just look at the countries that have embraced change and see how they have improoved. Its a big joke when we compare ourselves to Singapore our neighbour… neighbours who don’t even have their own water become one of the landmark countries in the globe when we, Malaysia a country full of resource is nothing but a laughing stock and a subject matter of crude jokes in the global arena. I SAY LETS CHANGE! lets change for the betterment of our country. Lets all lose our biasness, lose our racial prejudice. its time to hold hands and move forward. Change is already apon us. instead of sulking away, lets just move forward with the new air and breathe a new Malaysia.

Change is going to be hard to accomplish when the people currently in power benefit from it the least. They’ll do anything to stop it from happening; just look at the stupid shit going on with Karpal Singh and the sultan.
But yeah, I like to think that many if not most Malaysians are starting to accept that change is not only possible, but even acceptable. The May 13 paranoia was a big reason why people kept BN around for so long. Now they’ve seen that BN’s lost 2/3 majority and hey, the country didn’t go to hell after all.
2012 is going to be big.
